Description

The Petzl E13 was designed for the Petzl Zoom headlamp. If you purchased the Zoom without an adapter the zoom only runs on Flat 4.5volt batteries, this is a great alternative. The adapter fits snugly into the battery compartment of the Petzl Zoom and allows you to use 3 standard AA batteries (not included) instead of the 4.5 volt flat battery.

    Not direct repl for 3lr12 flat batt

    I was hoping to replace a 3lr12 flat battery for a different application, but the terminals are not in the same place as the 3lr12 battery, so it can only work in something with adjustable leads like the petzl lamp. No fault of their, it was a wishful purchase.

    Have a couple of older Petzel high altitude Zoom headlamps that use the now, hard to find 4.volt Euro square batteries. This adapter lets you use AA batts in the chest pouch.
