The Petzl Vertex Best E66 is a unique new helmet and
light combination from Petzl. It features a white Vertex Best helmet with
a Duo 14 attached to it. It is designed to be comfortable and durable for
use in confined spaces, rescue, and work at height.
- Hybrid headlamp:
- halogen for powerful long range lighting (100 m),
- 14 LED array for powerful proximity lighting with a long burn time
(up to 45 hours).
- Reserve power mode helps prevent being stranded in the dark (100 hours).
- Tilting head with focusing halogen beam.
- Lamp body and battery case are permanently attached to the helmet, with
the wire running inside the helmet.

- Chin strap designed to decrease the risk of losing the helmet in case of
impact during a fall (breaking strength of more than 50 daN, EN 12492
mountaineering helmet standard).
- Polycarbonate shell, resistant to impact and wear (meets EN 397
industrial helmet standard and EN 12492 standard).
- Meets optional requirements of the EN 397 standard:
- lateral deformation,
- use at low temperatures (down to - 30 °C),
- molten metal splash.

electrical insulation,

- a single adjustment wheel with 2 height positions adjusts the
headband size,
