Petzl E04999 25mm Elastic Headband

This isn't a perfect match for the Petzl Myo RXP, but it is acceptable. The quality of the elastic strap and instructions are good, etc. No issues there, however if you use your Myo on a helmet be aware this replacement strap is markedly shorter than the original and while I think it will stretch over a climbing helmet, it is tight enough that I think it will prematurely wear out this strap. Normally you would extend the strap to put it on a helmet, however to use this solely on my head I have it practically maximally extended already. So perfectly useful if you don't ever use your headlamp with a climbing helmet... additionally, the coronal strap is of the wide variety and the Myo RXP I have uses the narrow top strap. While not necessary to have the top strap installed when walking around camp, doing anything more strenuous is less than ideal since the Myo is powered by heavier AA (vs AAA) in a separate rear pack. If you have a headlamp that is a more direct replacement for this strap I would imagine it is 4-5 stars.

Got this to replace the old, stretched out headband on my Petzl Myo. The swap was easy and I was thrilled not to have to junk an otherwise perfectly good piece of equipment.

I have several older Petzl helmets that work fine other than the elastic headstraps. These retrofit very well and easily.

i bought this as a replacement headband for my petzl myo rxp and it was easy to install. it seems to be better than the original that went limp after a few years of use. come on petzl your quality is slipping.

I was glad that I could get a replacement headband for my favorite head lamp that I have used almost daily in my job for the last 8 years.
