The Petzl Tactikka XP is the newest light in the Petzl Tikka series of headlamps and is now available in camouflage or desert tan for the military. Using one high powered LED, this light is brighter than the 4 LED's found in the Petzl Tikka Plus light.
Using a new high power focused LED, light output will have three settings plus a 'boost' button producing a 50m beam when required. Other features include a tilting head, sliding diffuser for tactical lighting and an LED battery level indicator.
