Based on storage studies conducted over many years, Mountain House Backpacking Pouch Foods have a shelf life of at least 5 years from manufacture date when stored unopened in a cool area. After 5 years, a change in flavor and appearance may be noticed. For best results, avoid prolonged storage at temperatures above 75° F (24° C) and follow package instructions for proper preparation.

INGREDIENTS: Cooked Beef, Enriched Macaroni (durum semolina, niacin, iron [ferrous sulfate], thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Kidney Beans (contain salt), Tomato Paste, Chili Seasoning (chili pepper and other spices, dehydrated onion and garlic, hydrolyzed soybean protein, beef extract, sugar, paprika, partially hydrogenated soybean and/or cottonseed oil, autolyzed yeast, caramel color, spice extractives, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate), Modified Cornstarch, Salt, Dehydrated Onions, and Flavoring.
