Based on storage studies conducted over many years, Mountain House Backpacking Pouch Foods have a shelf life of at least 5 years from manufacture date when stored unopened in a cool area. After 5 years, a change in flavor and appearance may be noticed. For best results, avoid prolonged storage at temperatures above 75° F (24° C) and follow package instructions for proper preparation.

INGREDIENTS: Chicken a la King: Cooked Chicken, Mushrooms, Pimientos, Green Peppers, Nonfat Dry Milk, Celery, Corn Oil, Wheat Flour, Chicken Base (chicken including natural chicken juices, maltodextrin, hydrolyzed corn gluten, dried whey, spice extractives and onion powder, autolyzed yeast extract, turmeric), Salt, Chicken Fat, Sugar, Modified Cornstarch, Flavorings (hydrolyzed wheat gluten, partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oil, autolyzed yeast extract, lactic acid, bonito fish extract), Onion Powder, Spices, Citric Acid, and Ascorbic Acid.
