It can only be shipped to addresses in the contiguous United States. This is the only amount and size currently available for shipment. The Carbide is dropped shipped from a different location. We must have a deliverable street address and valid phone number for this item, cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. Due to HAZMAT FEES Carbide is NON RETURNABLE! Our system may include shipping charges on your order depending on the shipping method selected. If so they will be removed when the order is processed since carbide can only be shipped via FEDEX Ground which is included in the price.

We understand completely that 10 pounds may not sound like an economical amount to purchase but unfortunately due to Hazardous Material Handling Fees and Regulations this is really the only economical amount to ship. Approximately $55.00 of the purchase price goes toward the cost of preparing and shipping the Calcium Carbide. If we could ship a smaller amount the cost to you would still be about the same. We sell most Calcium Carbide to cavers and collectors of Carbide lamps.
