Omega Pacific is proud to announce the release of the newest, lightest weight, G-Rated aluminum carabiner on the market today. Made from aircraft grade aluminum and weighing in at only 4.6 ounces, this carabiner is the lightest ever to meet the requirements for "General Use" in accordance with NFPA 1983-06 standards. The G-First has a screw lock gate and a "Keylock Nose" which marries the gate and the frame of the carabiner without the traditional "notch and pin" that can sometimes interfere with with slings, ropes and other equipment.
