The Rescucender is a unique ascender that is designed to help prevent
rope damage under shock loads. The cam has a set of shallow, slightly
rounded teeth which will provide just enough friction against the rope.
Spring loaded action is achieved by the resistance of a small diameter
cable attached to the cam. This cable can be unclipped for free-running
action. Breaking strength 6,000 lbf (26.69KN). Weight 8 ounces. Made in
the USA.
