The CMI Ultrascender is one of the strongest ascenders made. It is constructed of
an extruded and machined body. The cams are made of 4140 chrome-moly steel
which gives the cam the same corrosion resistance as stainless steel but increases
both tensile and yield strength. The cams are harder than the best knife blades and
are backed by CMI with a lifetime wear out guarantee. All springs and operating
parts are constructed of stainless steel. Weight 270 grams (9 ounces). Length: 18.7
cm (7.375 inches); Width: 7.6 cm (3 inches). Breaking strength: 5000+ pounds.
